What To Pack For A Galle Villa Holiday

If you are planning to take your next Vill holiday to sunny Sri Lanka, you’ve made a wise choice. But with any tropical country, selecting what to pack can have it challenges. Here are a few pointers on what you need to pack for a Galle villa holiday

What To Pack For A Trip To Sri Lanka

Make sure you pack for a range of occasions – Choosing the right attire

Sri Lanka is a tropical country so you can expect the weather to be humid most of the time. Make sure to pick comfy cottons and also be practical about your dress choices. Ladies, for long-distance travel and everyday wear you can opt for shorts and tank tops, sundresses or anything comfortable but swimwear is not acceptable unless you are on the beach or pool. Men can wear shorts and tops to suit their tastes. For those who are travelling to the central highlands, a soft sweater will come in handy.  A trendy scarf will never let you down whether you want to jazz up your outfit or use it as a cover when entering a religious site.

Note – Dressing conservatively is a must when entering religious places such as Galle Fort, temples, mosques, and churches. Certain luxury hotels, restaurants, sports clubs, nightclubs require guests to be dressed smart casual (so no sports shorts, flip flops or sandals). If you are planning on a long stay then try the holiday rentals in Sri Lanka so that you can enjoy your holiday on your terms.
